Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica has successfully implemented a project for the organization of electric heating systems of Severstal industrial facilities
June 20, 2019. Moscow — PJSC Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica (hereinafter, the "Company" or "Group"), one of the leaders in the Russian engineering market, successfully designed a range of electric heating systems at industrial sites of Cherepovets Steel Mill (PJSC Severstal) in May 2019.
Ilya Kalenkov, General Director of PJSC Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica, commented on this event: "We used the EE-Hitflex system of industrial electric heating of the runoff water system's structural units, which was the benefit of our R&D program for 2018. In the course of this project, our team carried out a pre-project on-site inspection for Severstal at the customer's facilities with the participation of technicians and developed project documentation in full accordance with Severstal's requirements for the equipment used. The project involved solutions of our long-standing partner — Schneider Electric (France). I would like to highlight that in April 2019 our Company became a member of the Golden Club Prisma, which is a club of Schneider Electric's best partners in Russia (see more).
The project was transferred to the customer within the specified term and in line with all the parameters, thus allowing us to proceed with the discussion of further cooperation with Severstal.
In 2019, we expect to expand the range of our offers in the field of electric heating systems. Soon we will introduce a permanent capacity cable (resistive cable) solution to the market in addition to the self-regulating cable already used in our projects.
The new product will give our valued customers more opportunities for electric heating of inter-cluster, inter-platform, inter-field, intra-workshop and inter-workshop pipelines, fire mains, sewer pipelines and water pipelines, intermediate and storage tanks and technological installations at large industrial facilities."
FOR REFERENCE:
Cherepovets Still Mill is part of PJSC Severstal and is the second largest steel-casting plant in Russia. It manufactures the widest range of products among Russian metallurgical enterprises. The plant is one of the most profitable metallurgical enterprises in the world and includes more than a hundred technological complexes. Around 25,000 employees work there.
