Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica Wins Tender for Supply to SUEK
Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica has won a tender for supply of electrotechnical equipment and industrial automation to SUEK open-pit coal mines. Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica has successfully fulfilled agreements with 7 mines of the coal corporation, amounting to more than RUB 116 million. In terms of the agreements, Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica has supplied measuring transformers, cables and conductors, automation cabinets, measuring and regulation equipment, low voltage, weighting, laboratory, and industrial equipment, such as, for example, a colloid mill supplied to Tugnuisk open-pit mine to maintain its production volume. JSC Siberian Coal Energy Company is one of the leaders in the world coal mining industry and the largest coal producer in Russia. According to the company s official corporate website, SUEK is one of the TOP 10 coal producers and exporters in the world. In 2016, the company was able to mine 105.4 million tons, which is 6th place in the world according to volume. In terms of international sales, SUEK takes 4th place, with 51.9 million tons of coal sold in 2015. More than 1,700 consumers in 38 countries buy coal products from Siberian Coal Energy Company. Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica and SUEK have been cooperating successfully since January 2015.
