Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica presents mobile plants for development of small and remote fields at the Oil and Gas Forum
February 19, 2019. Moscow — PJSC Evropeyskaya Elektrotekhnica (hereinafter — the "Company"), a leading company in the Russian engineering market, represented by its subsidiary ROG-Engineering LLC, took part in the Oil and Gas technical forum, which was held in Moscow on February 12, 2019.
Participants at the forum presented and discussed the modern principles and technologies of oil and gas field development, including those in remote and hard-to-reach areas. Nikolai Eremin, Professor of Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, gave an opening speech to the forum participants.
Management representatives from the following companies took part in the forum: Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg, Gazprom Neft, Lukoil-Engineering, Rosneft-Purneftegaz, Surgutneftegas, BaiTex (MOL Group), Skolkovo Energy Center, and Schlumberger. The ROG-Engineering team successfully held discussions and conducted negotiations with these companies.
Habir Kilmukhametov, General Director of ROG-Engineering LLC, presented a report in the New Construction Technologies, Domestic Production section entitled "Application of Mobile Complexes for Fast Launch of Small and Remote Fields". The equipment for implementation of the Early Oil projects was also presented in the report. Mr. Kilmukhametov's speech attracted audience attention as it dealt with some pressing issues in the industry; construction of infrastructure for the development of remote and small fields requires a large amount of funds and time. As a result, companies in this sector of industry make great efforts to find solutions to optimize these types of cost.
During the speech, Mr. Kilmukhametov answered a number of questions from audience members:
- What is the production capacity of the complexes offered by ROG-Engineering?
The production capacity of the units/modules produced and supplied by the company is determined by the physiochemical parameters of the reservoir fluid (oil, condensate, gas and water): gas-oil ratio and the required quality of the processed product at the outlet.
Specifically:
- mobile well-test and development units manufactured by the company ensure the unit capacity of the unit/module: flow rate of gas-liquid mixture at the inlet is up to 500 m3/day at a gas-oil ratio of up to 2,000 m3/t, at the design pressure of up to 6.3 MPa in the first separation stage, which allows to implement projects for early operation of wells/fields in order to obtain reliable data on their reserves;
- mobile preliminary water knock-out units manufactured by the company provide for a liquid output of 1,500 m3/day, water cut of 10% to 99%, gas output of 150,000 nm3/day, and a water content of no more than 5% in the oil at the outlet. Mobile preliminary water knock-out units are irreplaceable when early implementation of the system for maintaining reservoir pressure maintenance and injection to withdrawal ratio is needed;
- modular oil processing units provide for the following performance indicators: liquid output — 3,000 m3/day, oil output — 2,000 t/day, gas-oil ratio — no more than 1,000 m3/t (however, this indicator can be increased to 2,000 m3/t). The oil quality at the output is provided as per GOST R 51858-2002 “Oil. General Specifications” (with Amendments N 1, 2) of the quality product group according to the customer's request. When applied at early stages of field development, mobile preliminary water knock-out units help the operating companies to sell the products (mainly oil).
- What is the time frame for mobilization/demobilization of such units at the field?
When using units with skids, mobilization/demobilization takes up from 2 to 5 days, depending on the setup of the unit. When using units with sledges, mobilization/demobilization takes up from 5 to 15 days, also depending on the unit setup and its capacity.
- Is it possible to rent/lease equipment along with personnel?
Mobile units are available for leasing in the format convenient for the operator: equipment only or together with qualified operating and maintenance personnel.
Chief Technologist of ROG-Engineering LLC Damir Yunusov also answered questions from potential customers during the forum.
