Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica and TXK-Kabel Organize Workshop for their Regional Partners

In Kazan, PJSC Evropeiskaya Elektrotechnica together with the cable manufacturer TXK-Kabe, have organized the workshop Leading Technologies and Innovative Solutions in Cable Producing. Representatives of departments of metrology and control and measuring devices and automation at PJSC Kazanorgsintez chemical plants were acquainted with the advantages of a new line of instrumentation cables and medium voltage cables with ethylene-propylene rubber (EPR) insulation.

Such cables are good for use in all types of explosive zones, as well as in 3–35 kV distribution networks at industrial and infrastructural facilities. EPR insulation provides smooth cable operation with the working temperature of the conductor at +90°С, and peak values up to +130°С, and satisfies high values of the maximum current carrying capacity, while leaving a good margin of safety. ESR insulation provides resistance to short circuits at temperatures up to +250°C. According to experts, cables with ethylene propylene insulation are the most modern and technological for use in the oil and gas and chemical industries. These cables have an extended temperature range, are resistant to aggressive environments, and can be used in explosive areas.
